This owl cake is the cake that started it all...
Hi, my name is Jean and welcome to my website!
I have always loved to bake cakes. My love of cake decorating, however, started when I made my daughter's 2nd birthday cake three years ago. I wanted a change from the usual chocolate cake covered in chocolate buttercream with a couple of candles on top so I started looking up cake designs and really liked the cute owl fondants I found online. I bought my very first batch of fondant and food colours and made a very simple 2D owl on a branch design. It got me well and truly hooked on fondant cake creations! By my daughter's third birthday, I was able to make 3D Octonauts cake toppers with the requisite sea themed fondant decorations all around the sides of the cake. I loved being able to wow everyone with a fantastic cake!
I am self-taught and spent hours reading and watching anything and everything to do with cake decorating. Nowadays there's so much that can be done with cakes and there is always something new to learn. That means that there is always a challenge and I'm having the best time trying them all!
I have researched and tried and tested all my recipes so that not only will my cakes look good, they'll taste great as well. I use the best ingredients and my cakes are tasty and moist and my fillings are scrumptious! I do my best to provide the best service possible. From the time you contact me to the delivery of your cake, I aim to make you happy and satisfied.
I am based in Wilmslow, Cheshire, UK and take orders from Cheshire, Manchester and surrounding areas.
